Questions.
When is the first class?+
Dates for Port Lavaca are being set now. Sign up above and you get the date and the price by email before it is posted anywhere.
Is this an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 class?+
Yes, through an OSHA-authorized Outreach trainer. The Department of Labor card comes from OSHA after the class. We tell you who the trainer is before you book.
Do you teach NCCER?+
The Safety NCCER / CSST path, yes. NCCER credentials are issued through an NCCER-accredited training sponsor and assessment center; we tell you where the class is credentialed before you book.
Do you teach OSHA 510 or OSHA 500?+
OSHA 500, 501, 510 and 511 are taught only by OTI Education Centers, so the Academy does not offer them; we can tell you where the nearest center is.
Who certifies a forklift or lift operator?+
Under 29 CFR 1910.178 the employer certifies its operators after training and an evaluation. The Academy delivers both, documents the evaluation, and gives you the record to keep. Same for scissor lifts, manlifts and boom lifts under ANSI A92.24.
Can you come to our yard?+
Yes. We bring the trainer and the gear anywhere in Texas; your equipment, your crew, your schedule. Ask for a quote with the headcount.
What about the simpler in-house training, like fire watch or hazard communication?+
That is Unico Academy, inside UnicoOS: short courses with a quiz and a certificate your company runs itself, free with your account. This site is for the certification-type classes and for safety services.
Where do I buy the gear?+
IndustrialDrip.net, our store: PPE, rigging, tools and supplies. The shop link is on this page.
Do I need a UnicoOS account?+
